The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the ongoing Israeli Occupation violations in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque / Al-Haram Al-Sharif.

The official spokesperson for the ministry, Daifallah al-Fayez, said in a statement Sunday that the Israeli Occupation confrontations against Al-Aqsa Mosque constitute a violation of international law and the historical and legal status quo and must be stopped immediately.

Fayez indicated that the ministry sent an official note of protest calling on the Israeli Occupation to stop its violations and provocations, respect the historical and legal status quo, respect the sanctity of the mosque and the freedom of worshipers.

Earlier Sunday, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and forcibly evacuated the worshipers from it.
